The building in which the Jolly Hotel Carlton is located was built for the Olympic Games in 1928 and was the first concrete building in Amsterdam. On the 12th of December 1985, Jolly Hotels Spa bought the complex and started with renovations which took two years. The very best and most modern materials were used. The hotel is completely decorated in a comfortable and elegant Italian style.
